On Purpose

God didn't create you on accident. He had a plan for your life all along, a specific work which He designed for you to do, and He has already given us everything we need to carry out His work in our lives. It is up to us to use what He has given us and to believe that He is absolutely able to accomplish His work in our lives.

At church this past Sunday, we talked about David and Goliath. God gave Goliath a stone, He gave Moses a staff, and He has given us Himself living within us, that we may be able to step body and confidently into wherever God has calls us and to use that which He has given us, to carry out His good works in us!

"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Esp. 2:10)"

Today's prayer:

Lord, help me to believe that You are able to carry out Your purposes in my life. Help me to have faith that You go before me and behind me, You make a way where I do not see a way, You have good plans for me, and You are faithful to carry out the good work which You have begun in me. Help me to be bold and courageous to follow where You lead, and to know that with You, I can do all things. In Jesus' name, Amen! <3
