Y'all ever get FRUSTRATED?! 🤦🏼♀️🤯😭 I know I do.
Last night I attempted to learn my very first song on the ukulele, and I use the word "attempted" very strongly 😂 .
I don't know why but I had this image in my head of picking up the ukulele and immediately being like the Hawaiian guy who sings "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" 😂🌴🥥 But wowzaaa was I wrong 🙅🏼♀️ Turns out the ukulele is HARD. Hard yes, but not impossible. 💯🔥 I think we often get frustrated with things in life that end up being a lot more difficult than we predicted, or imagined, them to be.
Relationships, the gym, advancing in our career field, eating better - you name it, it can often be a frustrating and overwhelming process; but nothing worthwhile ever happens over night and sometimes God uses our frustration to catapult us to that next level. 👆🏼 Imagine that...Your frustration can be a TOOL for advancement. 💥💥💥 God is in the waiting friends. The shaping and refining that He does during those times of frustration is often times what leads us to our greatest breakthroughs and accomplishment. Funny huh? 💛 I reminded myself of this last night, as I strummed away to an unrecognizable tune. Perhaps it wasn't perfect just yet and I definitely have a lot of hard work, practice, and learning to do before I'll be posting any videos on here but I was able to find the joy in the moment and purpose in the frustration. 😊 Today I want to challenge you if you're feeling defeated, overwhelmed, impatient, or frustrated to EMBRACE the place God has you in right now. Find the joy in this moment, the fun, the lessons, the growth, and recognize the purpose of being right where you are. 🤗🙏🏼 Happy strumming friends
