A little bit unusual...

God is funny in the way He works sometimes.

In my Bible study right now we are learning about His power displayed through

our weaknesses. Today, as I read about how God uses broken vessels to let His light shine through them out of darkness I realized that my weaknesses aren't areas that God is punishing me with, they aren't places where He is absent; rather, when I allow God into those places where I struggle, where I am weak, where I try to do things on my own, HE CAN USE MY WEAKNESS TO REVEAL HIS GLORY! Wait...whaaaat?!

Yeah girl, you heard me. He is the light that shines out of the darkness, and He cannot be overcome. He has equipped me with everything I need to be victorious in Him in every battle I face, weaknesses included. Because in my weakness, His strength is perfected. In my weakness, He can step in and show off. He can do what only God can do.

When I bring my weaknesses before Him in prayer, when I ask for His help, His strength, His light to be shone through my darkness; I can expect to be blown away, because His strength can accomplish more in my weakness any day, than my strength could accomplish even on my best day. He can do "....immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us (Eph. 3:20)"

His power at work in us! His power lives within us, and He is bigger than even our weakest weakness, and in that, we can firmly place our confidence and claim our victory in Christ Jesus! Hallelujah and Amen! Thank you Lord!
