A flicker...

That's how I feel sometimes if I'm being honest... I have a flicker. And if I'm being super honest, some days I have a single ember. But it's not my job to build a fire, it's God. It is my job however, to let my light shine before others, trusting and believing that God can us even my weakest embers to start a massive, uncontainable fire.

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand,

and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5: 14-16)"

Todays Prayer:

Lord, today I pray for trust, for boldness, for courage. I pray for restored

passion for You, for prayer, and for the call You have on my life. Let my light shine

brightly before others Lord, that You may be glorified in all that I do and say.

I pray for wisdom and discernment over my steps and for renewed

strength in the midst of the wilderness. Father, I thank you that wherever

I may go, You are always beside me, before me, and behind me. You

never fail, and when my strength is all but gone, I can rest confidently in Yours.
