Yet

Yet... What a powerful word that is. This morning I was in awe of the power of God’s “yets” and the strength that rest in us when we trust Him with our “yets” too. We all have “yets” - things in our lives that seem impossible, defeating, weaknesses that seem too much to overcome, mountains that seem impossible to move. And yet...”what is impossible with man is possible with God” (Luke 18:27) In God our weaknesses become a vessel through which His strength can be glorified, our mountains become an opportunity to lean in and depend fully on the Lord, to leave room for God to be God, to seek Him, to press into Him, to trust Him, and grow with Him as we walk through the unknown. Our defeats become a praise of victory in the hands of the Lord, who uses even that meant for evil for our good! Habakkuk says even if there’s no blossoms, no olives, no food, no herds. Even if there is nothing, “YET, I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the deer’s; He makes me tread on my high places” (Habakkuk 3:18-19) Listen to that! How amazing is that!? Y’all God is so good!! Even in the valley, even in the hurt, even in the unknown, even in the loss, the doubt, the defeat- YET, I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD!!! Because in Him, we have strength, we have endurance, we have salvation for“ God shows His love for us, in that even while we were YET sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) I am so thankful for the “yets” of God, His “yets” change everything. Yet Christ died for us, even while we were sinners and for that, yet I will rejoice in Him! Hallelujah & Amen! 🙏🏼💗
