nutrition from the inside out
Nutrition and fitness have long been a great passion of mine, they have also long been a great struggle.
I've tried just about everything in the book. From counting calories and macros, to personal trainers, Crossfit, Paleo, eating on a timeline, you name it.
These things aren't all inherently bad, in fact, eating healthy and working out regularly are some of the absolute best things we can do for our physical, mental, and spiritual health.
But what I've come to find on my well-being journey is that none of it really matters if the transformation is only exterior. Because exterior transformation does not equal transformed. Read that again.
True and lasting transformation happens from the inside --> out and it happens when we start to know, believe, understand, and live out who we are in Christ.
When we take hold of our worth, value, and identity in Jesus, true transformation begins to take place in our hearts, and as we continue to walk with God and apply His truth to our lives, that transformation spills out from our hearts and into every other part of our lives.
My heart and my hope is to help us all to walk in the knowledge of who we are as children of God and to let that knowledge nourish and take hold in our hearts, as it transforms our lives from the inside, out.

Favorite foods: Salmon, dark chocolate, spinach, bananas, almond butter, oats, brussel sprouts, salads, and cookies!
Favorite ways to move: long walks, burpees (I low-key enjoy them, don't judge me), weights, running, and box jumps!
